Drik and Photographers for Hope cordially invite you to a media briefing and the launch of the mobile exhibition Bangladesh, 40 years later by 13 photographers from around the world, led by the legendary American photographer David Burnett.
On this 40th anniversary of Victory Day, the exhibition photographs are a snapshot of today?s Bangladesh, and reflect how the country and its citizens have progressed in the last four decades. The stories are of a resilient people – ones of hardship, success, challenges and triumphs.

11:00am Launch at Drik (Speech by David Burnett, other participating photographers, Pathshala representative, US Embassy representative)
11:30am Rickshaw vans start for?Dhaka University.
12:30pm The convoy will be stationed at in front of the Art Institute (next to public library)
18:00 The convoy returns
