The 3rd International Resistance Art Festival

Dear Artist;
We are pleased to inform you that Visual Arts Association of Islamic Revolution and Holly Defense in Iran is about to hold ?The 3^rd International Resistance Art Festival? in November 2013. The Festival is held in 12 categories including Painting, Drawing and Printmaking, Persian Painting, Calligraphic Painting and Typography, Illustration (Graphics), Poster, Photography, Caricature and Cartoons, Sculpture, Animation, New Conceptual Arts and finally, Scientific Congress and Research Papers. Please read the entry information below. If you are interested to participate, please attach the images of your works to this email based upon the conditions that mentioned below. (For the primary selection, only the images of your works are needed). It is notable that you can participate in more than one category in the festival contest.
WE WILL WELCOME THE SUGGESTIONS FOR CREATIVE AND NEW PROJECTS.

Technical Terms &conditions

• To evaluate and examine the films, applicants are requested to submit the artworks on CD/DVD.
• It is obligatory to submit a short summary of the scenario, a resume and a photo of the applicant with the submitted film.

• It is obligatory for all applicants to provide their projects with explicit explanations and enough images to be evaluated by selection committee.
• Each artist can submit maximum of 5 works

• After the primary selection, the committee might invite the applicant to present the complimentary information if necessary.

-?????? Researchers are requested to submit their papers to Festival?s Secretariat. The researches should be based upon the principles of preparing research & scientific papers according to following items:
-?????? The submitted papers should not have been presented or published in any other festival or magazine.
-?????? Applicants should prepare their papers in Research-Scientific papers format.
-?????? Applicants are requested to prepare the papers in Persian, English or Arabic with a correct Grammar.
-?????? Papers should bear Abstract, Key words, Introduction, context, Conclusion and References.
-?????? Papers should be typed by Office Word software and the images should be 300 dpi in at least A5 size.
-?????? Each applicant can submit up to 3 papers (whose themes are related to above-mentioned themes) for participation in the Festival.
-?????? The papers can be prepared individually or interactively.
-?????? In papers with multiple writers, the name of the main writer is mentioned at first as the premier writer and then the name of other writers are mentioned below it antecedently.
-?????? It is obligatory for applicants to mention the writer?s name, phone, Email and Postal address. Those applicants, who are the members of Scientific Board, should also mention their scientific degree, name of the university and its city.
-?????? Before submitting the original text and paper, It is obligatory for applicants to submit a summary of their papers by email (including theme, objectives and the hypothesis of the writer).
-?????? The result of papers? selection is informed to applicants by their emails.
-?????? All selected papers are published as a book. Writers of the selected papers shall be granted a book.
-?????? • Only the sculptures in small Pieces (with a length at least 30 cm to at most 60 cm) are accepted.
• Each artist can submit maximum of 3 works
• Submission of the sculptures? images in different dimensions and angles are obligatory for the primary selection
• Works should be submitted by the website in the following formats: Digital File, jpg format, size at least 35?25 (2953?4135 pixel), 300 dpi. The amount of disk space occupied by a single project should not exceed 4 MB.

General ?Terms & Conditions

• The submitted photos can be black& white or colored.
• Each artist can submit maximum of 5 works
• Works should be submitted by the website in the following formats: Digital File, jpg format, size at least 35?25 (2953?4135 pixel), 300 dpi. The amount of disk space occupied by a single project should not exceed 4 MB.
• If the applicant?s work is selected at the primary selection, then the applicant is requested to submit the digital files on CD which should be printable in 30?45 with Tif format and 300 dpi.
• Works must not be manipulated using computer software.
• The documents of each piece of photos should bear the name of the creator, title, date, place of photography, and the description of the photo.
