On being human

Humans?by Arjun Janah
It’s not about Arab or Jew, my friend,
It’s more about humans and whether we’ll end.
It’s not about Hindu or Muslim or Serb,
It’s more about children and what they deserve.

  1. When you suddenly find your wife and children dead and buried under rubble because some satanic leadership decided to kill them all indiscriminately and those you thought shared your values of democracy and human rights, decided to condone the killings, you are left with little choice but to bury your books on ‘humanity’ and take up arms!
It is perhaps not so much cutting across culture but across politics that has turned out to be difficult if not insurmountable. This is prehaps the only absolute evil that go unidentified subordinating our wisdom!
